Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of nexustrinity.io and any related subdomains, APIs, and Discord bot integrations (collectively, the "Service"), operated by NexusTrinityio LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Nexus Trinity," "we," "us," or "our").

By using the Service — including the free Contract Reader, the free Sanctions Screening tool, paid Deep Reports, the paid API, or the Discord bot — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

Nexus Trinity provides automated analysis and screening of publicly deployed smart contracts and wallet addresses. The Service includes:

• Contract Reader (free) — a web form and public API endpoint that fetches a contract's verified source and returns AI-assisted, automated observations about its code.
• Sanctions Screening (free) — a web form and public API endpoint that checks a wallet or contract address against the U.S. Treasury's published OFAC sanctions list. Unlike the Contract Reader, this does not use AI — it is a deterministic, direct-match lookup against that list, refreshed daily. See the AI Governance & Disclosure Policy §1 for this distinction.
• Deep Report (paid, one-time) — an expanded version of the Contract Reader analysis, delivered as a PDF via email after a Stripe checkout.
• API Access (paid, subscription) — programmatic access to the Contract Reader and Sanctions Screening via an authenticated API, each with its own daily usage quota tied to your subscription tier. See §3 and the API Terms of Service for how quota limits actually work.
• Discord Bot — a /check slash command available in servers where the bot is installed, returning a summarized version of the Contract Reader analysis.

We also separately offer human-delivered smart contract security audit and retainer services under a distinct written agreement signed directly with a client. These Terms do not govern those engagements — a signed audit/retainer agreement controls if one exists between you and Nexus Trinity.

2. Not Financial, Legal, or Investment Advice

Nothing produced by the Service — including any output labeled "analysis," "observation," "report," or similar — is financial, legal, investment, or professional advice. The Service does not tell you whether a contract or token is "safe," "scam-free," or a good investment. It reports specific, evidence-backed observations about code it was able to read. See the Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer for the full terms governing this — it is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

3. Accounts and API Keys

If you purchase API Access, we issue you an API key at checkout, delivered once via email. You are responsible for keeping it confidential and for all activity under it. Report a compromised key to security@nexustrinity.io — we will revoke and reissue it. We may revoke a key at any time for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Your key carries two separate daily quotas — one for Contract Reader checks, one for Sanctions Screening checks — tracked and enforced independently, as described in the API Terms of Service. If you exceed either quota, your request still succeeds; it does not fail or return an error on that basis alone.

4. Payment, Subscriptions, and Refunds

• All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Deep Reports are a one-time purchase. If the underlying analysis cannot be completed (for example, the contract's source is not verified on the requested chain), we will notify you and issue a refund rather than deliver an incomplete report.
• API Access is a recurring subscription, billed on the cycle shown at checkout. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your key is revoked when the associated subscription ends.
• Beyond the above, all sales are final. Contact security@nexustrinity.io for billing disputes.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violation may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

Specifically, and without limiting the foregoing:

• The Service analyzes only what it can read: verified source code retrieved from block explorers at the time of the request. It does not execute the contract, simulate transactions, review off-chain components, or evaluate the intent, team, or governance behind a project.
• An absence of a flagged issue in a report is not a certification that none exists. The Service does not assign a safety score, a "safe"/"unsafe" verdict, or any single summary judgment — it reports discrete, sourced observations only, and treats what it cannot determine as "undetermined" rather than guessing.
• AI-generated analysis can be wrong, incomplete, or miss issues a human security researcher would catch. See the AI Governance & Disclosure Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
• Blockchain and smart contract data changes; a report reflects the code as it existed at the time of the request and may not reflect later upgrades, proxy changes, or admin actions.
• Sanctions Screening is a direct-match lookup against the U.S. Treasury's published OFAC list only. It does not perform transaction-graph or cluster risk analysis, and an address that received funds from a sanctioned address but is not itself listed will not be flagged. It is not a substitute for a full AML/KYC compliance program, and a "not sanctioned" result is not a certification or guarantee of any kind.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXUS TRINITY LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY IS NOT EXCLUDABLE, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID NEXUS TRINITY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) and is a fundamental basis of the bargain between you and Nexus Trinity.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Nexus Trinity harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; this does not entitle you to a refund except as stated in §4.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
